![]() If you're asked to enter a passcode, enter the passcode on the keyboard that you're setting up.All of a sudden it becomes discoverable as Keyboard. When your device appears in Bluetooth preferences, click Connect. If you have the same one as me (AA batteries) then you just hold the power button down until the green light flashes (if it doesnt release the power button and do it again).Choose Apple menu > System Settings (or System Preferences), then click Bluetooth.After removing the device, turn it off and back on. Or move your pointer over the device's name, then click the remove button. Click the Show Detail button , then click Forget This Device. If the LED turns on briefly but doesn't blink, the device might be connected to another Mac that is nearby. On that Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings (or System Preferences), then click Bluetooth.The Magic Keyboard isnt literally magic, but because its Apple, it pairs automatically with any Mac. If the LED never turns on, you might need to change the device's batteries. If you have a Mac, the most convenient place to start is with Apples own peripherals.Turn on your device. Its LED should start blinking to show that it's discoverable and ready to be paired. ![]() If you're using a laptop computer, you can use its built-in trackpad during setup.
